Jangseong-gun Accepting Applications for 'Career Connection Voucher Card' Until August 1

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, will accept applications for the ‘Career Continuation Voucher Card’ project for women with career interruptions from next month until August 1.

According to the county on the 28th, the Career Continuation Voucher Card provides a one-time annual voucher worth 200,000 KRW, which can be used for purchasing job preparation books, paying for employment course fees, interview preparation costs, and more.

Applicants must be women aged between 35 and 54 who have had a residence in Jeollanam-do for more than one year as of the application date and have registered as job seekers at employment support institutions (such as the Women’s New Employment Center, Employment Welfare Plus Center, etc.). Additionally, the health insurance premium for the month prior to the application date must be at or below 150% of the median income standard.

However, those receiving similar welfare services such as the Women Farmers Happiness Voucher, or participants in financially supported employment projects such as unemployment benefits, the National Tomorrow Learning Card, or the National Employment System, are excluded.

Applications must be submitted starting from the 1st of next month at the administrative welfare centers in the applicant’s town or township, and if selected, applicants must visit the NH Nonghyup Jangseong-gun branch in person to receive the card.

A county official said, “We hope that the Career Continuation Voucher support will help women with career interruptions in the county to return to society,” and added, “We encourage those who wish to apply to do so by August 1 to receive the benefits.”
