[Asia Economy Reporter Song Hwajeong] On the 28th, Kim Soyoung, Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Commission, held a meeting with Brian Nelson, U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary, at the Government Seoul Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, exchanging views on financial policies and cooperation measures between the two countries regarding virtual assets, anti-corruption, fintech, and cybersecurity.
Kim Jeonggak, Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit, also attended the meeting to explore mutual cooperation measures related to anti-corruption and money laundering.
