Namwon City Public Health Center to Promote 'Mobile Healthcare Project' Until December

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Jeonbuk Namwon City Public Health Center (Director Han Yong-jae) announced on the 28th that it will promote the ‘2022 Public Health Center Mobile Healthcare Project’ targeting 150 local residents and workers in Namwon City from this month until December.

The Public Health Center Mobile Healthcare Project is a program that provides health consultations and personalized health management services for six months from a dedicated mobile healthcare team (doctor, coordinator, nurse, nutritionist, exercise specialist) through the linkage of smart bands and mobile apps.

Priority is given to selecting individuals who have one or more health risk factors (blood pressure, blood sugar, abdominal circumference, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol) (excluding patients and those taking medication).

In addition to personalized health management services, participants will be assigned periodic health-related missions and can receive small rewards based on mission achievement.

Since its launch in 2020, a total of 230 citizens have participated in the Public Health Center Mobile Healthcare Project, which concluded successfully last year with a satisfaction score of 88.43 points (out of 100) and a health behavior improvement rate of 63.3%.

A public health center official said, “Citizens who find it difficult to participate in health promotion projects due to work or other reasons will be able to receive health management services without time and space constraints through this project, and we will do our best to improve self-health management abilities and promote citizens’ health.”
