When dating rumors surfaced, Hyundai Card stated, "We know Lydia Ko is not only excellent in golf skills but also has a very good character," and added, "We heard that she and Jung Joon get along well like friends while playing golf together." Their connection is golf. Lydia Ko has been called a 'golf prodigy' since childhood and has dominated the world women's golf scene. She debuted on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour in 2014 and has won a total of 17 titles, including two majors.


Lydia Ko was born in Seoul and emigrated to New Zealand at the age of six. She developed her abilities while balancing school classes and golf practice. She is proficient in both English and Korean. Thanks to her unique humor, she maintains strong relationships with players of various nationalities. This is why her relationship with Jung Joon was smooth. The two have ties to San Francisco, California, USA. Lydia Ko was particularly strong at the Lake Merced Golf Club in San Francisco.


She won her first LPGA Tour title at the 2014 Swinging Skirts Classic held there as a professional. To commemorate this, she had the Roman numerals ‘IV-XXVII-XIV’ tattooed on her right wrist, which corresponds to 4-27-14 in Arabic numerals. Jung Joon majored in philosophy and data science at the prestigious Claremont McKenna College in California, USA.


He earned an interaction design qualification from the world-renowned UX consulting agency Nielsen Norman Group. He worked as a UX intern related to payment solutions at Hyundai Card in October 2018 and participated in an MZ generation car purchase project at Innocean USA, an advertising subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group. Since this year, he has been working at a Hyundai Motor affiliate in San Francisco. He is currently in Seoul for personal reasons.
