[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu announced that on July 1st at 3 PM, it will hold the inauguration ceremony of Mayor Lee Gi-jae, marking the hopeful start of the 8th term of the elected government, at the Yangcheon Culture Hall Grand Theater with the residents.

Under the slogan "A City You Want to Live In, A Livable Yangcheon," this inauguration ceremony, which starts vigorously, will invite residents from various sectors including education, culture, welfare, and economy to celebrate and support the event, which will be held modestly yet with dignity. Additionally, it will be a meaningful occasion to declare the direction and determination of the district administration for a new leap forward, reflecting the aspirations of Yangcheon residents both internally and externally.

The ceremony will begin with a traditional Korean music performance by the "Yangcheon Children's Choir," composed of elementary school students from Yangcheon-gu, followed by the oath-taking, inaugural address, and congratulatory speeches. Mayor-elect Lee plans to present the vision and policy directions that will be central to the 8th term district administration through a presentation during his inaugural address.

The inauguration ceremony for the 8th term Yangcheon-gu mayor has been systematically prepared by forming a resident-centered inauguration preparation committee. In particular, the reception and congratulatory flower wreaths will be boldly omitted to uphold the purpose of a substantive inauguration ceremony created together with the residents.
