Preferred Operating Periods and Locations, and Recommended Play Programs You Want to Try
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu is conducting a preliminary survey until the 29th for the operation of the ‘Visiting POP-UP Playground’.
The ‘Visiting POP-UP Playground’ refers to a temporary playground operated for a short period in an open space. It is a new concept playground filled with creative and innovative play content, rather than a fixed facility-type playground.
The district has launched this project for the first time this year to provide outdoor play opportunities for children who have faced restrictions on outdoor activities due to COVID-19.
The district is conducting a survey to understand overall preferences before operation. The survey includes preferred operation periods, locations, and play programs they want to try.
Examples of play programs include ▲ Hangul Playground ▲ Mission Impassable Rope ▲ Hammock Healing Playground ▲ Sand Artist ▲ Box Playground ▲ Bubble Playground, among others.
Recommendations for other creative play programs are also being accepted.
Children and parents residing in Gwangjin-gu can participate in the survey on the Gwangjin-gu Office website. The survey is currently being conducted on the ‘Integrated Notice Board’ visible on the homepage’s main screen, so participants can click there to join.
The preliminary survey aims to reflect the opinions of the users, the children, as much as possible to carry out a customized project. The results will be used as basic data for the smooth operation of the ‘Visiting POP-UP Playground.’ The ‘Visiting POP-UP Playground’ is planned to be operated once between July and October for children residing in Gwangjin-gu as a surprise event.
