According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, from the 27th to the 29th, the expected rainfall in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous Gangwon, Chungnam region (excluding southeastern inland), northern Chungbuk, and the five western islands is 50 to 150mm.

Areas with heavy rain are expected to receive over 250mm.

The northern East Coast of Gangwon, southeastern inland Chungnam, central and southern Chungbuk, northern Gyeongbuk, Jeolla region, Gyeongnam region (excluding northwestern inland), and Jeju Island (excluding northern coastal areas) are forecasted to receive 20 to 70mm (over 100mm in Jeju mountainous areas).

Especially in regions where rain continues until the day after tomorrow, the 29th, very strong gusts of wind around 70 km/h (20 m/s), thunder, and lightning are expected, along with very heavy rain of 30 to 50mm per hour and hail in some places.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Due to heavy rain recently near Hwanghae Province in North Korea, water levels have risen mainly in river basins near northern Gyeonggi (Imjin River, Hantan River, etc.). Since more heavy rain is expected, water levels may rise further, so special caution is requested to prevent safety accidents and rain damage for campers and vacationers at campsites and resorts."

While the nationwide weather is expected to be mostly cloudy until the 29th, temperatures will be higher than average (lowest temperature 18?20°C, highest temperature 25?29°C), and the maximum perceived temperature is expected to rise above 33°C, especially in some southern inland areas and along the East Coast, making it very hot.

The minimum temperature on the morning of the 28th will be 22?27°C, and the maximum temperature during the day will be 24?32°C.
