Promotion of historical, cultural, and ecological tourist sites in Paju, Yeoncheon, Pocheon, and Yeoju planned until November
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The provincial supporters group 'Byeolbit Yulangdan,' formed to promote tourist destinations in Gyeonggi Province, will use their social media platforms for the first time to promote the Gyeonggi Sea tourist sites.
'Byeolbit Yulangdan' is an SNS support group recruited nationwide by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization to promote local tourist destinations. It consists of 11 teams and 26 members, including families with children, travel writers, and foreigners residing in Korea.
According to the province on the 27th, 'Byeolbit Yulangdan' will conduct SNS promotional activities visiting tourist sites along the Gyeonggi West Coast, such as Siheung Oido, Ansan Daebudo, Hwaseong Jebudo, and Pyeongtaek Marina Port, during the 'Gyeonggi Sea Travel Week' held from July 9 to 17.
Additionally, they will visit tourist sites a total of four times by November, posting promotional materials introducing Gyeonggi Province's tourist destinations.
For their first schedule in July, the teams plan to visit various historical, cultural, and ecological tourist sites, including the Paju Jangdankong Wellbeing Maru cultural experience program, Hantan River Geopark in Yeoncheon and Pocheon, and walking the Donghak Trail in Jurok-ri, Yeoju, promoting these locations.
Earlier, to support their promotional activities, the province held a launch ceremony on the 25th at the Paju Publishing Complex, providing theoretical and practical lectures on writing, photography, and video shooting techniques.
Choi Yong-hoon, Director of Tourism, said, "We hope that Byeolbit Yulangdan will widely promote the excellence of Gyeonggi Province's tourist destinations through various activities."
