[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Busan City, and Busan Port Authority will jointly hold the '15th Busan Port Festival' on July 2nd and 3rd at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, Bukhang Waterfront Park, and Yeongdo National Maritime Museum area.
The festival opening ceremony, themed 'Wishing for the 2030 Busan World Expo Bid,' will take place on the evening of the 2nd at 8 PM on a special stage in the outdoor parking lot of Busan Port International Passenger Terminal.
The opening ceremony schedule includes ▲ congratulatory performances by Hadonggyun and An Yae-eun ▲ opening ceremony ▲ media facade theme video screening ▲ Busan Port fireworks show, with about 2,000 seats available.
Main events include ▲ 'Beer Garden & Food Truck' where visitors can enjoy Busan's representative craft beer along with the night view of Busan Port ▲ 'Busan Port Stamp Tour,' a large mission tour program linked with five marine cluster institutions ▲ 'Busan Port Mini Concert' featuring Noeul, Burning Soda, Hathaway, and Seoul Buin held at Bukhang night view ▲ 'Romantic Sea (海),' a picnic-style concert held at Amir Park in Yeongdo.
At sea, there will be naval and coast guard ship open events, 'Busan Port Tour' which includes boarding experience on the port guide ship Saenuri and Jagalchi Cruise, and marine leisure experiences such as kayaking, yachting, and motorboating.
Applications for Jagalchi Cruise and yacht/motorboat experiences can be made on-site.
The 'Masked Ball at Bukhang,' held for the first time this year, will take place at Bukhang Waterfront Park at 9:30 PM on the 2nd and 9 PM on the 3rd.
This event, targeting people in their 20s and 30s, is a unique masked event where attendees can enjoy various performance shows such as b-boying, street dance, and K-EDM.
Busan Port environmental campaigns, children's sea love writing and drawing contests, and various experience booths will also be operated.
