Air Force 1st Fighter Wing Presents Nameplates to National Merit Recipients Ceremony

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Air Force 1st Fighter Wing (hereinafter 1st Fighter Wing) announced on the 27th that it held a nameplate presentation ceremony as part of the 'National Merit Recipient Nameplate Attachment Project.'


This event was promoted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and was held with the attendance of Lim Jong-bae, Director of the Gwangju Regional Veterans Office.


It was planned to create a social atmosphere of respect for national merit recipients and to inspire patriotism among the people.


On this day, the 1st Fighter Wing presented a nameplate to Kim Yang-soon, the spouse of the late Moon Chang-soon, who participated in the Korean War and was awarded the Hwarang Military Merit Medal, expressing gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication to the nation.


Ryu Jin-san, Commander of the 1st Fighter Wing, said, “The Republic of Korea exists today because of the national merit recipients who devoted their body and mind for the country,” and added, “We will carry on their will through the perfect execution of airspace defense missions.”
