Yoo Seung-kyung, Director of Gyeonggawon, Inspects Major Accident Prevention at Pangyo Startup Campus

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yoo Seung-kyung, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, conducted an on-site inspection of major facilities at the Pangyo Startup Campus to verify the status of major accident prevention and safety management.

On the 27th, President Yoo inspected not only major industrial accidents but also rental facilities mainly used by residents, and visited the cafeteria operated under consignment by the Agency to conduct a safety and health inspection. He also took time to communicate by listening to suggestions from related personnel.

At this occasion, President Yoo said, "The best measure to prevent accidents is prevention," and promised, "We will do our best to ensure the safety of residents and employees through continuous facility inspections to improve risk factors and thorough safety management so that major industrial and major citizen accidents do not occur."

Earlier, the Agency reorganized its structure to prevent major accidents and respond promptly by establishing a 'Safety Management Team' directly under the president to oversee major industrial accident tasks. In addition, in February, an on-site safety inspection was conducted on major facilities within Gwanggyo Techno Valley.
