K-Game Industry Talent Development... Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group and COCONE V Sign Agreement for Game Content Advancement Dongseo University and COCONE V officials are signing a business agreement to foster professional talent leading the K-game industry and are taking a group commemorative photo.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The LINC 3.0 Project Group of Dongseo University and COCONE V recently signed a business agreement in the Global Room of the New Millennium Hall to foster professional talent leading the K-game industry.


COCONE V, which participated in the agreement, is a company that owns more than 100 game titles including online game portals ‘HANGE’, ‘AVATAR’, ‘Chocotto Land’, ‘Purenista’, and ‘Popo’, producing various game titles in Japan and Korea.


The XR Content ICC of Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, which promoted the agreement, operates various programs and supports industry-academia joint technology development related to the new immersive content industry sector.


The ICC is striving to nurture convergent talents specialized in XR content and to provide students with educational courses closely linked to the industry.


As the LINC 3.0 Project Group, they agreed to actively cooperate in ▶ promoting industry-academia joint projects for mutual development ▶ jointly developing educational programs for training professionals in the game industry ▶ joint efforts regarding field training and job education ▶ utilization and exchange of human and material resources ▶ and other related projects recognized as necessary by both parties.


Hwang Ki-hyun, head of Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, “Dongseo University will operate joint programs through industry-academia cooperation with COCONE V and strengthen organic connections with industries to foster talent in the K-game industry sector.”


Cheon Bu-geon, head of COCONE V Busan branch, said, “This agreement will provide a foothold for Dongseo University game department students to enter overseas markets.”
