[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] SK Shieldus (CEO Park Jinhyo) announced on the 27th that it has signed a strategic business agreement with CJ Freshway (CEO Jung Seongpil), a specialized food distribution and catering service company, to ensure food ingredients and safety for daycare centers nationwide.

Both companies, as leading domestic firms with specialized expertise in the food ingredients and security sectors?areas that daycare centers consider most sensitive and important?have pursued this business agreement to create opportunities to provide fresh ingredients and safe transportation together to daycare centers across the country.

First, SK Shieldus will introduce the 'Caps Safe Bus' solution to daycare centers nationwide where CJ Freshway supplies food ingredients. This is a vehicle safety solution that guarantees the safe commuting of children to and from daycare. Using the dedicated app provided by the solution, parents can check the location of the school bus in real time and receive alerts when children board or disembark. Notably, the school buses equipped with this solution are mandatorily installed with a Driving Data Recorder (DTG), ensuring safe vehicle operation.

Additionally, SK Shieldus plans to introduce the 'Caps Smart Mobility' solution to CJ Freshway’s nationwide food ingredient delivery locations. This corporate vehicle management solution enables real-time location tracking, route inquiry and recording, and temperature monitoring. It is expected to contribute to maintaining the freshness of temperature-sensitive ingredients and ensuring safe delivery.

Kim Yunho, Head of the Strategic Business Group at SK Shieldus, said, "We judged this as a great opportunity to provide fresh ingredients and safe transportation together to daycare centers that prioritize the value of safety above all. SK Shieldus and CJ Freshway have joined hands with this in mind." He added, "SK Shieldus will contribute to enhancing safety for CJ Freshway’s clients, including daycare centers and kindergartens that receive kids’ food ingredient deliveries."
