[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Monday the 27th, heavy rain will fall in the central region. In the southern region, strong showers will occur due to atmospheric instability, and the perceived temperature will rise up to 33 degrees Celsius.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that on this day, hot and humid air will flow in along the southwest wind, and due to the influence of a low-pressure system developing along the stationary front and moving northeastward, heavy and widespread rain will fall mainly in the metropolitan area and inland/mountain areas of Gangwon Province until the 28th. At 6 a.m. on the day, the KMA issued a heavy rain advisory for Ulsan and Yangsan in Gyeongnam, and at 7 a.m. for Miryang in Gyeongnam. A preliminary heavy rain warning has been issued for northern Gyeonggi Province and some parts of Gangwon Province.

The KMA advised, "In areas where rain or showers fall, there may be thunder and lightning, and some places may experience very heavy rain exceeding 30 to 50mm per hour along with hail. Please refrain from approaching valleys, rivers, and reservoirs, and be cautious of reduced visibility and slippery roads to ensure traffic safety."
