[Weather] Mostly Cloudy Nationwide with Showers in Some Areas... Strong Wind Warnings in Gangwon and Others

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Kyung-jun] On Sunday the 26th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with raindrops falling in some areas.

In the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, inland Jeonbuk, Jeonnam region, and inland Gyeongsang region, showers of 10 to 60 mm will fall from the morning, and Jeju Island will receive 5 to 30 mm of rain.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be 21 to 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature 26 to 34 degrees Celsius. Fine dust concentration is expected to be at 'Good' to 'Moderate' levels across all regions.

Strong winds with instantaneous gusts reaching up to 70 km/h are expected in Gangwon Yeongdong, the northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, and the northern East Coast of North Gyeongsang, so caution is advised for facility management.

The sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea nearshore. The wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
