[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 24th that the 'Global Live Commerce Seller Training Course,' jointly established with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, has started its first class at the COEX Startup Branch.


This program is designed to enhance the qualities and capabilities necessary for domestic university (graduate) students to grow as global live commerce sellers. This year, eight university teams (33 students) are participating in the course. Over approximately four months, they will receive basic education in live commerce planning, overseas market research and item sourcing, sales strategy development, and storytelling, as well as gain practical broadcasting experience linked with eight domestic live commerce companies.


At the entrance ceremony, Park Yeon-woo, Secretary General of the Trade Academy, stated, "With the spread of non-face-to-face trade trends after the pandemic, we have newly established this related course," adding, "We will spare no support to help the students participating in this course grow into future export leaders."


Jeon Jong-chan, Secretary General of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, "We hope that students will take a leap forward as global sellers leading world consumer trends through this course."
