Last Week's Chicken Company Headquarters Raided, Data Under Analysis

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The CEO of a well-known chicken franchise company is under police investigation on charges of receiving bribes from a supplier.
On the 23rd, the Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced that last week they conducted a search and seizure at the headquarters of chicken franchise company A and are investigating the company’s CEO, Mr. B, on charges of breach of trust and bribery.
Mr. B is suspected of regularly receiving bribes as payment from 2016, when company A signed a contract with packaging manufacturer company C. Company C is reportedly operated by a junior from Mr. B’s hometown.
The police plan to summon Mr. B for questioning once the analysis of the materials secured during the search and seizure is completed.
