Orion Launches Summer Limited Editions of Choco Pie Jeong and Pokachip

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Orion announced on the 23rd that it will release three summer limited edition products: ‘Choco Pie Jeong Watermelon,’ ‘Pocachip Hula Mango Flavor,’ and ‘Pocachip Lime Mojito Flavor.’


Choco Pie Jeong Watermelon is a reinterpretation of the nation’s snack, Choco Pie, with the summer representative fruit, watermelon flavor. The marshmallow contains watermelon juice to create a natural fruit taste. The exterior is coated with a rind pattern reminiscent of an actual watermelon, and the inside is made of red bread to represent watermelon flesh. The Pocachip summer limited editions capture the flavors of popular drinks enjoyed at famous vacation spots. ‘Hula Mango Flavor’ offers the sweet mango juice taste enjoyed in Hawaii, while ‘Lime Mojito Flavor’ adds a tangy and refreshing lime mojito flavor reminiscent of the Maldives. Made from 100% domestically grown fresh potatoes, these chips combine the fresh flavor of potato chips with unique tastes.


Various events have also been prepared. Under the theme ‘The Taste of a Colorful Summer Vacation,’ customers who access the event page via the QR code on the back of the product and participate in the survey by the end of this month will be entered into a draw to win one box of the Pocachip summer limited edition products, with a total of 100 winners. In July, the ‘My Vacation Style’ event, which identifies travel preferences similar to MBTI, will be held, and in August, the ‘Colorful Literature Exhibition: It Was Summer’ event, where participants create acrostic poems, will take place. Among consumers who participate and share, a special vacation item collaborated with an illustrator will be provided through a lottery.
