[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The transition committee for the 8th term Gyeonggi Province Governor is conducting a public opinion survey on the policy pledges of Governor-elect Kim Dong-yeon.
The transition committee announced on the 22nd that it plans to conduct a survey on residents' preferences regarding the governor-elect's policy pledges under the title "We ask residents' opinions on Governor-elect Kim Dong-yeon's pledges" through the official website until the 27th.
The survey consists of three questions: ▲ the pledge that attracts the most interest ▲ the pledge that residents most look forward to if realized ▲ the pledge that should be prioritized the most.
The committee explained that it selected major pledges promised by Governor-elect Kim to residents during the election process to compose the survey questions.
The transition committee plans to actively reflect the results of this survey in provincial administration.
A committee official said, "In accordance with Governor-elect Kim's philosophy emphasizing communication and cooperation, we are conducting this survey to thoroughly collect residents' opinions, excluding political judgments on the priorities of provincial administration," and added, "We ask for many residents' participation so that this can be a starting point for creating a virtuous cycle structure where residents' will is reflected in provincial administration."
Meanwhile, residents who wish to participate in the survey can access the official website of the 8th term Gyeonggi Province Governor Transition Committee and click on 'Vote for Interested Policies' in the middle of the homepage or 'Vote' and 'Interested Policies' at the top.
