First 10 Registrants: Classes Start on the 2nd of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 22nd that it will recruit 10 participants on a first-come, first-served basis for the July reading culture program for elementary school students, "Colorful Leather Craft."
The "Colorful Leather Craft" program, starting on the 2nd of next month, is a leather craft experience class for elementary school students (ages 10-13).
It was prepared to improve basic abilities such as children's cognitive, physical, and social development through craft activities.
Through this course, children can make ▲children's wallets ▲wallets as gifts for parents ▲keyrings ▲pencil cases, and the making kits will be provided free of charge on-site during the class.
This program will be held a total of four times every Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Gyerim Dream Tree Library. To participate, apply through the Dong-gu library website.
A Dong-gu official said, "Following the first half of this year, we have prepared unique programs where various cultural experiences can be enjoyed at the library in the second half as well," adding, "We hope many residents will show interest and participate in various experience programs that parents and children can enjoy together at the library, a complex cultural space."
