Suncheon Mayor-elect Noh Gwan-gyu Discusses Current Projects with Jo Su-jin, People Power Party Supreme Council Member

After the indoor briefing, they toured every corner of the Suncheonman National Garden and had detailed discussions about plans for the 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo and a request for President Yoon Suk-yeol to attend the opening ceremony.


Supreme Council member Jo Su-jin said, “President Yoon emphasized that the promises made to Honam must be kept,” adding, “As the president requested, I will carefully note the parts that the government and ruling party need to work on, including local issues in Suncheon, and deliver them.”


No Gwan-gyu, the elected mayor, stated, “It is unprecedented for a Supreme Council member of the ruling party to visit Honam so quickly after a regime change,” and added, “I will sincerely discuss not only local issues but also how to survive local extinction and transform Honam.”
