[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Residents living in 'Seocho Acrovista,' the residence of President Yoon Seok-yeol, have submitted a petition to the police urging the crackdown on protests.

At around 11 a.m. on the 22nd, Jung Won-heon, the representative of Acrovista residents, along with eight residents, submitted a petition to the Seocho Police Station in Seoul expressing the residents' discomfort. A total of 470 out of 757 households participated in the petition.

They stated, "Since the 14th, a group called Seoul Voice has been holding noisy protests from morning till evening in front of the Rehabilitation Court across from the apartment," adding, "Due to the noise damage, it is difficult to live a normal life, and basic living safety is being threatened." They further requested, "We earnestly ask for a crackdown to protect residents from damage caused by indiscriminate assemblies and protests."

Representative Jung explained, "Since residents are suffering significant damage, we hope that protests causing harm to residents, such as using high-performance microphones, will be refrained from."

Meanwhile, Seoul Voice has been continuing protests in front of President Yoon's residence since the 14th. At the first rally, Seoul Voice stated that they plan to continue the protests until the rallies in front of former President Moon Jae-in's Yangsan residence are stopped.
