[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Pizza Alvolo announced on the 22nd that it has launched a personal pizza, a single-serving pizza perfect for enjoying alone.
The personal pizza is a menu designed for single consumers who find a whole pizza overwhelming, making it a neat option for a single meal.
Seventeen of Pizza Alvolo's main menu items, including ‘Shrimp & Hot Chicken Gold Pizza’, ‘Daesae Pizza’, ‘Oksusu Pizza’, and ‘Mokdong Pizza’, have been sized appropriately for one person.
They also launched eight types of ‘Special Half & Half Pizzas’ that allow customers to enjoy two flavors at once. Along with the existing half-and-half menu options consisting of well-being pizzas and traditional pizzas, the popular ‘Shrimp & Hot Chicken Gold Pizza’ and ‘Daesae Pizza’ serve as the main selections. Customers can also choose from steady-seller menus such as ‘Goguma Pizza’, ‘Danhobak Pizza’, ‘Poteido Pizza’, and ‘Combination Pizza’.
Pizza Alvolo expects the personal pizza to appeal to the increasing number of single-person households and ‘honbapjok’ (people who eat alone).
