Operation of On-site Address Change Service for Chodang University Students
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do recently operated a visiting address change service targeting students of Chodang University.
The visiting address change service is a customized service that directly visits those who wish to move in but cannot visit the civil service office due to their busy daily lives, even though they actually reside in the area, to accept their moving-in reports.
Applicants wishing to move in can receive consultation and guidance on moving-in reports from the county on-site, fill out the application form, and simply present their ID to apply for both the moving-in report and the moving-in support fund.
Institutions and social organizations within the jurisdiction that require the visiting address change service can request the service from the Future Growth and Population Policy Team.
County Governor Kim San said, “We are actively encouraging moving-in by distributing promotional materials for population policy support projects and informing about various benefits available to Muan residents,” adding, “We plan to continue operating visiting moving-in counters focusing on local companies and military units.”
Meanwhile, Muan-gun provides tuition support of 100,000 KRW per semester (up to 4 years) to university students who have lived in another region for more than one year and have moved to Muan and lived there for more than three months, and a moving-in support fund of 200,000 KRW to employees of companies and military personnel who have lived there for more than six months.
