'Senior Job Fair' to Be Held at Suwon Hwaseong Haenggung on the 21st

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a 'Senior Job Fair' at Hwaseong Haenggung Square in Paldal-gu from noon to 5 p.m. on the 21st.

The event is hosted by the Suwon City Private Employment Support Council (Suwon City, Suwon Senior Club, Korea Senior Citizens Association Jang-an, Gwonseon, Paldal, Yeongtong District Employment Support Centers) and organized by the Suwon Senior Club. Any senior aged 60 or older residing in Suwon City can participate in the Senior Job Fair.

More than 20 companies from Suwon City and nearby cities will participate, conducting on-site interviews and hiring more than 40 people. The job positions include security guards, cleaners, kitchen assistants/cooks, and caregivers.

Job seekers will also be provided with employment support services such as ▲employment counseling ▲resume writing and interview clinics ▲resume photo shoots ▲information on senior job opportunities.

A Suwon City official stated, "We will actively connect seniors seeking jobs with companies in need of related personnel," adding, "Even after the event, we will continuously discover niche jobs and senior-tailored job opportunities."
