[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Lotte Food announced on the 16th that it will launch ‘Uiseong Garlic Jikku Chicken,’ which uses domestic chicken marinated in a special soy sauce and grilled over direct fire.
Uiseong Garlic Jikku Chicken is characterized by its sweet and savory taste and soft, moist texture. A special soy sauce developed by a sauce specialist chef is applied once more on the surface to provide a richer flavor.
Uiseong Garlic Jikku Chicken is grilled twice to boast abundant juiciness. It is first pre-grilled in a 230℃ high-temperature oven, then grilled once more over direct fire, resulting in a crispy exterior while the inside remains juicy. Various parts, including tender chicken thigh meat, firm chicken breast, and moist chicken skin, are blended in a golden ratio to add chewing pleasure. It is released in small packages for easy portability and can be conveniently prepared in a microwave.
A Lotte Food official said, “We went through many trials and errors to realize restaurant-level taste and texture to meet consumers’ elevated tastes,” adding, “We will continue to strive to introduce differentiated products that the whole family can enjoy, leveraging Lotte Ham’s long-standing meat processing know-how.”
