[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct the "2022 Suwon Youth Socioeconomic Survey" targeting 1,000 Suwon youths aged 19 to 34 from the 20th of this month to the 7th of next month.

The city of Suwon explained that this survey is significant as it is the first youth socioeconomic survey conducted based on the "Youth Basic Act" introduced in 2020.

Conducted in collaboration with the Gyeongin Regional Statistics Office, this survey covers 12 areas (50 questionnaire items) including ▲housing and transportation ▲family ▲education ▲health ▲culture and leisure ▲quality of life ▲labor ▲hope jobs ▲employment support policies ▲economy ▲special items to investigate the living conditions of Suwon youths.

The survey also includes questions related to Suwon City's key youth policy areas, youth participation organizations, Suwon Youth Support Center, and youth festivals. The collected data will be used solely for statistical purposes, and personal information will be strictly protected in accordance with the Statistics Act.

Surveyors will conduct the survey through face-to-face interviews by visiting respondents. The results will be used as basic data for establishing youth policies in Suwon City.

A city official stated, "Through the youth socioeconomic survey, we will analyze the lives of Suwon youths to identify what they truly need," and asked, "Please actively cooperate when surveyors visit."
