[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Hyundai Construction announced on the 13th that it will sell 'Hillstate Daemyeong Central 2nd Phase' in the area of 202-1 Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu.
This complex consists of 977 households and 266 residential officetels, ranging from 4 basement floors to a maximum of 48 floors above ground. All units are designed with an exclusive area of 84㎡ or more, and residential officetels were built to expand options for those who prefer small to medium-sized types.
Nearby, Yeongdae Hospital Station on Subway Line 1 is within walking distance. When using a car, it is possible to quickly access major arterial roads passing through downtown Daegu such as Sincheon-daero, Apsan Sunhwan-ro, and Jungang-daero via Daemyeong-ro.
Surrounding facilities include public offices such as Yeungnam University Hospital, Daegu Nambu Police Station, and Nam-gu Office, as well as Homeplus Namdaegu Branch and Myeongdeok Market. Educational facilities include Namdo Elementary School, Daemyeong Middle School, Daegu High School, and Yeungnam University College of Medicine.
The eastern runway and western road within the US military base Camp Walker located south of the complex are scheduled for land return, which may activate the development of the unopened section of the 3rd ring road. On the returned helicopter pad site along with the eastern runway, the Daegu Representative Library, a four-story building linked with Daegu Peace Park, will be constructed in 2024.
Hyundai Construction decided to enhance product value by using hardwood flooring for apartment floors, domestic tiles for kitchen walls, and engineered stone for countertops as standard. The residential officetels also feature a 3-room design to provide a sense of space. The Hillstate specialized Internet of Things (IoT) service, Hi-oT, is applied, allowing residents to control lighting, gas, heating, and more via a smartphone app both inside and outside the complex.
A sales official said, "Following the Hillstate Daemyeong Central supplied last year, the 2nd phase will create a brand town with 2,332 households, establishing itself as a landmark representing the area."
