[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 13th that it is recruiting trainees for the Dealer Academy to hire new employees.
Lotte Tour Development is recruiting participants for the 2nd class of the 'Dream Tower Dealer Academy (DDA)' targeting young people aspiring to work in the casino industry. The Dream Tower Dealer Academy was established to nurture talent in the casino field and support employment through education related to casino duties and services.
The application period is from the 13th to the 19th. Applications can be submitted through the official website of Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort. Non-majors can also apply, and a total of 30 people will be selected through document screening.
The practical-oriented Dream Tower Dealer Academy training is conducted directly by Dream Tower casino staff. The training will take place over four weeks from July 4th to 29th. During this period, participants will receive a training support fee of 1 million KRW each.
Lotte Tour Development plans to hire all graduates of the training as interns at Dream Tower Casino and link contract employment based on their internship performance.
A representative from Lotte Tour Development said, "We need to expand our workforce in preparation for more foreign tourists visiting Dream Tower Casino," adding, "Through the Dealer Academy, we will strive to contribute not only to expanding employment opportunities for local talent in Jeju but also to the development of Jeju tourism."
The Dream Tower Dealer Academy is one of the educational support programs within a 12 billion KRW social contribution project established by Lotte Tour Development for regional coexistence.
Meanwhile, in April, 26 people, including 24 local residents, were finally selected for the 1st class of the Dream Tower Dealer Academy and are currently all working as interns at the casino within Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort.
