On the 10th afternoon, Simmons will launch the 'Simmons Grocery Store' on ZEPETO, a popup store without beds and a socializing project that has attracted public attention.
With over 300 million users worldwide active on ZEPETO, Simmons Bed plans to continue the Simmons Grocery Store craze. Beyond online and offline, through interactions transcending virtual and reality, Simmons aims to expand its unique socializing that connects regions and people on the global stage.
Simmons has built photo booths and video booths on ZEPETO, including goods items infused with Simmons' characteristic wit, allowing users to experience the brand's charm and a higher level of socializing without constraints of time and space.
In the ZEPETO item shop, seven popular items are sold: ▲Cabbage disposable camera ▲Jumpsuit ▲Waterproof apron ▲Rain boots ▲Simmons basketball bag ▲Roller skates ▲Lucky S socks. Simmons' photo booth and video booth are also unveiled, where users can watch videos such as the 'Oddly Satisfying Video,' which has surpassed 20 million cumulative views on YouTube.
Simmons Bed will unveil its official avatar 'Soul' on ZEPETO. Soul, a part-time worker at the Simmons Grocery Store, will actively communicate with the global fandom with overflowing energy and unique friendliness. Soul was inspired by a Gen Z employee who designed the ZEPETO project at Simmons.
Kim Sung-jun, Executive Director of Brand Strategy at Simmons Bed, said, "The products introduced by Simmons on ZEPETO can be purchased at the Simmons Grocery Store Cheongdam located in Cheongdam-dong," adding, "The metaverse entry was planned not as a popup store offline simply moving into the metaverse, but focusing on bringing what happens in the metaverse offline and realizing it."
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch on ZEPETO, Simmons Bed will hold a 'Water Staring Challenge' using the video booth for two weeks until the 23rd. Users who upload 'water staring videos' made at the Simmons video booth on their ZEPETO feed with required hashtags will be entered into a draw to win generous prizes such as ZEPETO coins.
