Hosted by Suwon City and the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and organized by the Suwon Job Center, the event saw participation from 50 companies, which conducted on-site interviews and hired about 250 job seekers.
Mayor-elect Lee Jae-jun continued his communication efforts by visiting the booths, greeting company representatives and job seekers.
At the event booths, Lee emphasized, "Suwon City will act as a bridge connecting good talent to companies and good companies to job seekers," adding, "Creating an environment where both sides are satisfied is precisely the role of the Suwon mayor."
He continued, "Suwon is close to Seoul and has abundant cultural resources, providing a favorable environment for companies to settle," and added, "I will actively promote corporate attraction by personally engaging and maintain continuous communication with both businesspeople and job seekers."
In particular, he promised, "Upon taking office, I will advance Suwon City to the next level as an economic special city," and pledged, "I will make it a business-friendly city and an economic special city with good jobs."
On the day of the event, Suwon City supported job-seeking activities by providing job counseling to participants and operating self-introduction and resume clinics. Additionally, side events such as ID photo shoots and career counseling were held.
