[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Samsung SDS announced on the 9th that it has signed a business cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ujeong Air to expand its global air logistics business and promote mutual growth with domestic small and medium logistics companies.

Through this agreement, Samsung SDS will strengthen its global air logistics business by integrating Ujeong Air's specialized air logistics services, such as real-time air cargo location and freight rate information, into the digital logistics service Cello Square platform.

Ujeong Air is an air cargo consolidation specialist company that operates by renting a certain cargo space within aircraft through contracts with airlines, and it operates the digital air logistics platform called iNomad.

Shippers using Samsung SDS's Cello Square will be able to check the entire air logistics transportation process, including cargo receipt, airport cargo handling, aircraft loading, airport cargo arrival, and destination cargo receipt, through the air cargo information provided by Ujeong Air.

Additionally, Samsung SDS will jointly develop international air logistics products with Ujeong Air to support the expansion of global sales for domestic e-commerce sellers in markets such as the United States, Japan, Australia, and Brazil, actively supporting Ujeong Air's overseas business expansion.

Oh Gueil, Vice President and Head of Samsung SDS Logistics Division, said, "To respond agilely to the rapidly changing air logistics market, we will continue to strengthen win-win cooperation with domestic small and medium logistics companies with specialized capabilities to create mutually beneficial cases."
