[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] CJ Foodville's Tous Les Jours announced on the 9th that it held a strategic workshop to strengthen communication between the franchise headquarters and franchise stores.
According to Tous Les Jours, the workshop held over two days starting from the 8th in Busan was attended by about 60 people, including 30 regional franchise store representatives from the Store Owners' Council and executives and employees of CJ Foodville's Bakery Division. They discussed business prospects in response to internal and external environmental changes, the future direction of the brand, operational strategies, and detailed plans for the second half of the year.
This year marks the year CJ Foodville declared ESG management, and the representatives of the Tous Les Jours Store Owners' Council and CJ Foodville executives and employees reaffirmed their commitment to actively participate in ESG management.
Lee Yong-woo, chairman of the Tous Les Jours Store Owners' Council, said, "It is a new feeling to meet in person and strengthen our commitment after two years of communicating non-face-to-face due to social distancing," adding, "As a brand with the resilience to grow even during the pandemic, we will continue to communicate for mutual growth, which is the essence of franchising."
Lee Chi-hyung, executive director of CJ Foodville's Bakery Division, said, "The reason Tous Les Jours could celebrate its 25th anniversary this year was because the franchise stores and headquarters always listened to each other's voices and worked toward the same goal," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create a sustainable Tous Les Jours through ESG management, growing together with franchise stores, not just as a brand for business."
