Damyang-gun Recruiting 59 College Student Interns for Summer Vacation... Apply by the 16th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 8th that it is recruiting 59 participants for the 2022 Summer Vacation University Student Internship Program by the 16th, targeting university students residing in the area.

This program is continuously promoted to provide local university students with various workplace practical experiences during the vacation period to enhance their employment competitiveness and offer experiences of economic independence.

Eligible participants are university students and students on leave who are registered residents of Damyang-gun as of the announcement date.

Those wishing to participate can check the announcement on the county website and submit the application form and required documents to the county's Grassroots Economy Division or the town/myeon office by the 16th.

For fair selection, the county plans to select a final 59 participants through a first document screening and a second interview evaluation and health insurance premium payment review based on objective indicators such as academic background, certifications, and language scores. The selected interns will work for four weeks from July 4 to 29, 2022.

A county official said, "Through acquiring practical knowledge in public administration and experiencing civil administration, participants can gain early social experience and identify areas for improvement and aptitude in preparation for employment," adding, "We look forward to the active participation of university students in the region."
