A member of the Cargo Solidarity Union is being arrested by the police for obstructing trailer traffic.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] A member of the Cargo Solidarity Union was arrested on the spot for obstruction of business after blocking the passage of a trailer.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 8:37 a.m. on the 8th, two Cargo Solidarity Union members on strike threw water bottles and eggs at trailers and blocked the passage of two passing trailers at Sinhang Samgeori in Gangseo-gu, Busan, and were arrested on the spot for obstruction of business.
A police official said, "They are scheduled to be investigated by the Gangseo Police Station, and we cannot disclose detailed information."
The Cargo Solidarity Union is reported to have planned to hold a rally at Sinhang Samgeori around 9 a.m. on the 8th, then move to Korea Tire Special Transport in Jinhae, Gyeongnam, to conduct a publicity campaign.
