[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Institute for Small and Medium Venture Businesses (KISMV) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for "Research on Small Business Owners and Activation of Personal Business CB" with Shinhan Card on the 7th at the Symphony Hall on the 23rd floor of Shinhan Card headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Through the MOU, both organizations agreed to conduct joint research based on Shinhan Card's MyCredit database and KISMV's research capabilities, and to mutually cooperate in developing customized services for small business owners and data-driven ESG management collaboration tasks based on the research results.
Hong Un-seon, Vice President of KISMV, stated, "We hope that customized products considering the characteristics and economic conditions of small business owners will be developed by actively utilizing the strengths and infrastructure possessed by both organizations," adding, "We will closely cooperate to create objective and highly accurate small business policies based on data in the future."
Ahn Jung-seon, Vice President of Shinhan Card, said, "Through this data collaboration, I believe we can create financial services and knowledge assets that serve as a practical foundation for the recovery of small business owners who have faced difficulties after COVID-19," and added, "Shinhan Card will spare no support with the hope that this will become another successful model created by the public and private sectors."
