[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Chaplain's Office of Dongseo University held the 'Founding Ideology Practice Scholarship Award Ceremony' to nurture talents who can embody the founding ideology of 'Truth, Creation, Service' based on the Christian spirit and serve God and humanity.
Kim Jeong-seon, Executive Vice President, encouraged the students by saying, "I hope you become talents who can serve God and humanity through academic work and talent donation based on the Christian spirit."
Among the nine students selected as Founding Ideology Practice Scholars, nursing student Kim Hyeong-gyeong was chosen as the top scholar for her detailed record of the reasons she started medical sign language interpretation, her future volunteer plans, preparation process, and reflections.
Kim Hyeong-gyeong said, "It felt even more meaningful to be recognized that what I want to do is valuable and right, and I will continue to work hard to achieve my goals," adding, "I once again pledge to be someone who looks around and embraces those in need of help."
