On the morning of the 31st, Daesun Brewery CEO Jo Woo-hyun held an induction ceremony for the 'Red Cross Honors Club (RCHC) Hall of Fame' together with officials from the Busanjin-gu Red Cross Hall.
The RCHC refers to individuals (Red Cross Honors Club) who have donated or pledged a cumulative donation of 100 million KRW or more for Red Cross humanitarian projects, as well as donating organizations and groups (Red Cross Honors Enterprises).
Daesun Brewery was registered as the 18th Red Cross Honors Enterprise in Busan and the 167th nationwide corporation.
The company donated 20 million KRW in March and has supported a total of 100 million KRW over five years.
In January 2011, Daesun Brewery donated funds accumulated through the 'The Most Joyful Donation in the World, Joyfulye' campaign to the Korean Red Cross.
In June last year, it joined the 'Companies with Proper Spending' regular sponsorship campaign jointly promoted by Busan City and the Korean Red Cross to help vulnerable groups facing economic difficulties due to COVID-19 and other challenges.
CEO Jo Woo-hyun said, “We will continue to work hand in hand with the Korean Red Cross to extend a helping hand of hope to marginalized groups in the local community.”
