Selvas AI Partners with Visang Education for Research Collaboration on 'Edutech-Based Teaching and Learning Materials'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Selvas AI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) and voice technology, announced on the 31st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Visang Education regarding 'joint research on edutech teaching and learning materials.'

Through this MOU, they plan to promote ▲ joint research and development of teaching and learning materials ▲ joint research and development of digital textbooks ▲ development and consulting of edutech content ▲ and other cooperation for mutual growth.

The combination of Selvas AI's AI-based technology and Visang Education, a publisher of national and certified textbooks as well as an edutech company with diverse educational content, is expected to introduce edutech teaching and learning materials that can enhance educational effectiveness.

As the untact education market such as online learning rapidly grows, Selvas AI is actively expanding its business by entering the AI-based edutech market. Selected as the developer for the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) 'Intelligent Learning Service Platform' project, it is developing digital textbooks together with elementary school certified textbook publishers.

In addition to AI-based solutions such as speech recognition, speech synthesis, and handwriting recognition that the company possesses, it is also developing a question bank and content distribution platform to support personalized learning.

Jae-woo Park, Head of Edutech Business at Selvas AI, said, "We expect the synergy to be maximized by combining the company's AI technology capabilities with Visang Education's content production expertise," adding, "Selvas AI plans to improve the content production environment and provide differentiated functions to users through its self-developed content production solution."

Chae-chan Choi, CEO of Visang Education Publishing Company, stated, "We plan to continuously advance edutech teaching and learning materials so that deep, personalized education can be realized in numerous educational settings in the future."
