Daewoo E&C's housing brand Prugio is expanding its business area nationwide, enhancing its status in the housing market.
Ranked 5th in the 2021 Construction Capability Evaluation, Daewoo E&C is a leading construction company in Korea that builds "comfortable and livable homes" through its housing brand Prugio, promoting a residential culture space where people and nature coexist. As a result of showcasing trendy lifestyles and providing eco-friendly living environments, it won honors in three categories?interior, architecture, and communication?at Germany's 'If Design Award 2022.' Moreover, it maintains high preference among consumers, ranking 4th in the '2021 Apartment Brand Power Survey' conducted by Dr. Apartment.
In particular, Prugio, which had focused its business mainly in the metropolitan area and large cities, is proving its brand value by recently expanding nationwide. For example, earlier this year in Eumseong, Chungbuk, 'Eumseong Prugio The First' set a record for the highest number of subscription applications in the region's history and achieved early sell-out success.
Despite limited supply and a quiet sales market in the Eumseong area at the time, Prugio's brand power is analyzed to have played a significant role in this success. In fact, this complex was the first top-tier brand apartment supplied in Eumseong in over 10 years since SK View in 2008, and its announcement sparked interest among industry insiders and local residents alike.
Additionally, 'Seochungju Prugio The First,' which received subscription applications in early May in Chungju, Chungbuk, set a new record for the highest number of first-priority applications in Chungju. Furthermore, the 'The First' pet name is being used to launch projects in various regions such as Seogwipo in Jeju, Iksan in Jeonbuk, and Gimcheon in Gyeongbuk. Industry experts agree that because Prugio thoroughly prepares over a long period before entering regions with no prior supply and presents highly refined products, 'The First' itself has become a seal of guarantee.
A real estate official stated, "As the importance of brand increases among housing demanders when choosing apartments, Prugio, recognized as a major brand, is gaining nationwide support from consumers," adding, "This year, sales are planned in various localities including Eumseong, Gwangyang, Gyeongsan, and Jeongeup, and the successful streak is expected to continue."
Meanwhile, Daewoo E&C is preparing to supply 'Eumseong Prugio Center Peak' in Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk, in June.
Eumseong Prugio Center Peak is located in an optimal position adjacent to the planned central commercial site within the Eumseong Enterprise Complex City, with a school site (planned) within walking distance right in front of the complex. It boasts a pleasant living environment based on abundant green spaces such as preserved original terrain green areas, a children's park (planned), and a sports park (planned). Additionally, it offers diverse wide-area transportation networks including Jungbu Expressway, Pyeongtaek-Jecheon Expressway, National Road 82, and National Road 21, enabling quick access to the metropolitan area and the entire Chungbuk region. The transportation environment is expected to improve further with the systematic layout of new road networks.
Subscriptions are available nationwide, and since it is located in a non-regulated area, applicants who have held a subscription account for more than six months and are over 19 years old can apply for first-priority subscription even if they own a house. Amid rising prices of raw materials and labor costs causing new apartment prices to increase, this complex, located on public land, will apply the price ceiling system, setting a reasonable price compared to the surrounding market. Furthermore, to reduce the financial burden on buyers, interest-free installment payments during the intermediate payment period are offered, and pre-sale rights can be transferred before ownership registration, which is expected to make it highly popular.
Eumseong Prugio Center Peak will be built in Seongbon-ri, Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, within the Eumseong Enterprise Complex City. It consists of 8 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, with 875 units of 84 and 110 square meters exclusive area. The layout is mainly south-facing for all units, and medium-to-large specialized designs such as 4Bay floor plans will be applied.
Meanwhile, before the official sale, Eumseong Prugio Center Peak operates the 'Prugio Cafe,' which provides complex information and cultural programs. The Prugio Cafe, located on-site, operates on weekdays and weekends from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The model house is scheduled to open in June.
