Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Supports Social Economy Enterprises with 7 Million Won for Preliminary Startups

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is stepping up to support prospective social economy entrepreneurs.

The Gyeonggi Social Economy Center within the foundation announced on the 31st that it will recruit 25 prospective startup teams (or individuals) by the 10th of next month to support the step-by-step growth of prospective social economy entrepreneurs.

The detailed eligibility criteria require applicants to have completed or be scheduled to complete an advanced social economy education course in a city or county of Gyeonggi-do within the last two years. Those who have already registered their business are excluded from support.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the relevant city or county (center) department in the province or by email. The selection process will be conducted through document screening and face-to-face interviews based on criteria such as business model, sustainability, and appropriateness of the business plan.

Selected prospective startup teams will receive 7 million KRW for business development expenses including project promotion costs, material costs, and outsourcing services, along with three sessions of startup consulting at the commercialization stage.
