[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Dong-Eui University Regional Collaboration Center co-hosted the '2022 Academic Year Happiness Seed Mind Wellness Project' on the 28th at the Busan Cerebral Palsy Welfare Center area in Geumgok-dong, Buk-gu, Busan, together with the Busan Cerebral Palsy Welfare Center.
The event, held as part of the Ministry of Education's University Innovation Project, involved 57 students and faculty advisors from department clubs including the Department of Dental Hygiene's 'Bong Sarang', Clinical Pathology's 'Areumdeuri', Computer Software Engineering's 'Metaverse', Human and System Design Engineering's 'Earth', Digital Content's '24FRAME', and Radiology's 'Light Care'.
During the event, activities such as oral health care education, blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol measurement, maker-based crafting experiences, smartphone usage guidance, and photography were conducted for users of the Busan Cerebral Palsy Welfare Center.
Yoon Hyun-seo, director of the Regional Collaboration Center, said, "This event was organized to support the alleviation of isolation and promote healthy living for people with cerebral palsy through talent-sharing activities of department clubs," adding, "We will continue to strive for the formation of a sustainable local community."
The Dong-Eui University Regional Collaboration Center continuously carries out community contribution and volunteer activities through collaboration with related organizations.
The center plans to hold ▲ the Dong-Eui Dongrak Project in June ▲ the Dong-Eui Open Campus Program in July ▲ the Dong-Eui University President's Cup Busan City Disabled Badminton Tournament in September ▲ the Dong-Eui Youth Village Haja BIG EVENT in October ▲ and the Healthy Centenarian Harmony Festival in November.
