SK Hynix Strengthens 'Rewards' for Employees' Social Value Activities

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] SK Hynix is strengthening rewards for employees' social value (SV) activities and expanding SV creation.

On the 27th, SK Hynix announced that after providing ‘SV Points,’ which can be used like cash at 1 won per point to SV-creating members and partners, it has launched the ‘SV-Point Exchange Center’ service that allows members to convert SV Points into OK Cashback points to enjoy broader benefits.

This measure adds various benefits linked to OK Cashback as rewards for SV activities, thereby encouraging interest and voluntary idea proposals for SV activities and further strengthening a virtuous cycle that leads to the activation of SV creation.

SK Hynix is also holding various donation events so that members can use SV Points for social contribution activities. In particular, in October, it plans to open the ‘SV Point Dashboard’ within the SV portal to make it easier for members to participate in donations with points and expand opportunities to share meaningful contributions.

Various activities are being carried out to enable members to create SV and earn points. Representative activities eligible for SV Points include ▲ DBL (Double Bottom Line) Imagination Town ▲ SV Creation Best Practice Sharing Festival ▲ SV Events ▲ Analysis and Measurement Support Center.

SK Hynix provides SV Points not only to its members but also to partner company members. It offers SV Points as rewards through the ‘Social Value Best Practice Contest’ for partner members and ‘SHE Consulting,’ which checks on-site management and systems in safety, health, and environment fields.

Gong Sun-mi TL, who is in charge of the ‘SV Follow-me’ tasks including the OK Cashback conversion service, said, “The role of SV Points is important in increasing interest and participation in SV creation activities,” adding, “We will continuously activate SV Follow-me to encourage voluntary participation of members and continue to discover various programs linked to SV Points.”
