[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Kooksoondang announced on the 27th that it will launch ‘Kooksoondang Chilseong Maksa’ on the 1st of next month in collaboration with Lotte Chilsung Beverage.
The new product, Kooksoondang Chilseong Maksa, is a collaboration between Chilseong Cider, a representative cider brand with over 70 years of history, and Kooksoondang Makgeolli. It combines the soft taste of Kooksoondang Makgeolli, which undergoes two rounds of rice fermentation, with the refreshing taste of Chilseong Cider, allowing consumers to enjoy the unique flavor of a smooth yet crisp ‘cider makgeolli’.
Kooksoondang Chilseong Maksa will be released in 350mL cans with an alcohol content of 5%. It will be available at major supermarkets, convenience stores, and general grocery stores nationwide. Prior to the official launch, a limited pre-order of 300 sets of a commemorative launch package will be sold via smart order on Chilseong Mall starting from the 30th. The limited edition package includes 2 cans of Kooksoondang Chilseong Maksa and a dedicated glass.
