Shilla Stay Launches Eco-Friendly Hotel Vacation Package.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Shilla Stay, the premium business hotel brand of Hotel Shilla, is launching eco-friendly packages that allow guests to practice environmental protection such as reducing plastic use and adopting a vegan lifestyle.

According to Hotel Shilla on the 27th, the packages are designed to enable guests to enjoy a hotel staycation while practicing environmental protection by offering vegan cosmetic items and travel kits and goods made from eco-friendly materials as gifts.

The eco-friendly package, called the ‘My Oasis’ package, is a product that allows customers to directly experience vegan beauty items, which are popular among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) who value conscious consumption.

Package customers receive vegan skincare products from the cosmetic brand ‘TREEANNSEA,’ which uses hypoallergenic, natural ingredients and eco-friendly packaging materials, as gifts.

The package includes one night’s stay, one TREEANNSEA Desert Cream, one TREEANNSEA Sand Dune Desert Mist, and one Shilla Stay Signature Bear, and is available until the end of May at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun, Yeoksam, Samsung, Seobusan, and Jeju.

The ‘Save the Earth’ package offered at Shilla Stay Seobusan replaces disposable amenities with eco-friendly bathroom products, toothpaste, and toothbrushes to help reduce plastic use. Guests can also visit nearby famous ecological tourist spots such as Eulsukdo Ecological Park and Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center, allowing them to experience both a hotel staycation and environmental protection simultaneously.

Package customers are provided with a travel solid kit consisting of solid shampoo bars, rinse bars, and body bars instead of disposable amenities in plastic containers, as well as bamboo toothbrushes and solid toothpaste made from eco-friendly materials instead of plastic toothbrushes.

The package includes one night’s stay, one Donggubat travel solid kit, one Earth Shop bamboo toothbrush, one solid toothpaste, and one Shilla Stay Recycle Bear, and is available at Shilla Stay Seobusan until August 17.

The packages are conducted in conjunction with the ‘Shilla Stay Green Campaign,’ which means that for stays of two nights or more, bedding replacement in the room is not performed, and additional amenities are limited.
