[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) has signed an agreement with the Housing Welfare Solidarity Corporation to improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups through the 'HF Dream House' program.
Under the agreement, HF will select 270 low-income vulnerable households, including people with disabilities and elderly living alone, and carry out work such as wallpapering, flooring, and repairing window sashes and insect screens using eco-friendly materials.
The corporation plans to employ 190 unskilled construction workers on site, providing them with work opportunities and chances to grow into skilled professionals.
President Choi Jun-woo stated, “The corporation will continue to make steady efforts to improve housing welfare for vulnerable groups.”
Celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, 'HF Dream House' is HF Corporation’s representative social contribution activity for housing welfare. From 2012 to 2021, the corporation has supported the improvement of living environments for a total of 1,449 households.
