Candidate Lee Jae-jun: "I Will Prevent the Relocation of Gyeonggi Province Public Institutions Located in Suwon"

At the press conference held at the ReadyJun camp that day, Candidate Lee said, "I am aware that many Suwon citizens and institution workers are deeply worried and concerned about the relocation of Gyeonggi Province public institutions within Suwon City," and emphasized, "I will actively support preventing the relocation of public institutions and the establishment of the Special Northern Gyeonggi Province in consultation with Kim Dong-yeon, candidate for Gyeonggi Province governor."

He continued, "Through the establishment of the Special Northern Gyeonggi Province, we will support the establishment of public institutions under its jurisdiction," and pledged, "In connection with this, we will attract the Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation located in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, to Suwon City."

Candidate Lee especially stated, "If Gyeonggi Province unilaterally proceeds with relocating Gyeonggi Province public institutions in the Suwon area, we will block the relocation through provisional injunction lawsuits and constitutional complaints," and promised, "Together with the five members of the National Assembly from Suwon City and Kim Dong-yeon, candidate for Gyeonggi Province governor, we will definitely carry this issue through and foster the Gwanggyo area of Suwon as a Gyeonggi Province metropolitan administrative platform."
