Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Launches Saessak Safe Driving Campaign

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 26th that it will conduct the Sprout Safe Driving Campaign targeting customers who are first-time subscribers to its automobile insurance and those who have subscribed to the child rider endorsement.

This campaign was planned with the purpose of preventing accidents by distributing safe driving sprout stickers and encouraging consideration and protection for vehicles driven by novice drivers and those carrying children.

The campaign targets individual automobile insurance policyholders with less than one year of subscription history or customers who have subscribed to the child rider endorsement (fetal type).

Customers with less than one year of subscription history will receive a "Beginner Driver" sticker, and customers with the child rider endorsement (fetal type) will receive a sticker labeled "BABY in CAR."

Additionally, both stickers will commonly feature the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance logo and the call center number.

When a contract eligible for the campaign is signed, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance plans to send a text message to the customer including a link where they can enter their sticker application and address information.

Customers can apply by clicking the provided link.

A review event will also be held. Customers who share photos of the stickers they received and attached on social networking services (SNS) will be rewarded with convenience store coupons and other benefits.

This campaign is a continuation of the accident-free customer event held in March to commemorate the company's 70th anniversary and will run from today until the end of July.

A representative from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance’s automobile insurance marketing department stated, "This campaign was planned with the intention of making safe and considerate driving a habit," adding, "We will continue to contribute to establishing a proper driving culture through various methods."
