CIS Signs Supply Contract for Secondary Battery Electrode Process Manufacturing Equipment Worth 16.5 Billion KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] CIS announced on the 26th that it has signed a supply contract for secondary battery electrode process manufacturing equipment with Ultium Cells.

The contract amount is 16,452,290,000 KRW, which corresponds to 12.39% of the sales in 2021. Ultium Cells is a secondary battery manufacturer for electric vehicles jointly established by LG Energy Solution and the American automaker GM.
