[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Bank announced on the 26th that it has signed a 'Woori Naeri Sarang Trust Service Business Agreement' with the law firm Kwangjang.
The signing ceremony held on the 24th at the headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by Song Hyun-joo, head of Woori Bank's Investment Product Strategy Group, and Kim Sang-gon, representative lawyer of Kwangjang.
The two parties agreed to cooperate in providing legal advisory services and product marketing promotion for customers subscribing to Woori Bank's inheritance and gift trust products. According to the agreement, Woori Bank will provide subscribing customers with customized legal advice on inheritance and gifts of trust assets at reasonable fees.
The Woori Naeri Sarang Trust Service is an integrated asset succession service that includes the design of inheritance and gift trust products and consultations with specialized personnel. The cooperative advisory team, composed of financial and legal experts, recommends various trust products and supports tax advisory and legal consultation services.
A Woori Bank official said, "We signed the agreement to provide effective legal advisory services so that asset owners can pass on their assets to the next generation without disputes," adding, "We will continue to offer efficient solutions for family asset succession."
